• 1937 The Casino San Clemente opens, featuring orchestra music in the ballroom, live radio broadcasts and visiting Hollywood celebrities
• 1941-1943 The Coast Guard occupies the facility as a wartime lookout station, and later Marines hold farewell parties there before shipping overseas
• 1945-1948 Restaurant and cocktail service begin again, and then a new owner begets Lee Bering’s Beach House with dinners and dancing
• 1961 The Casino becomes the San Clemente Moose Lodge with weekend surfer stomp dances
• 1973 Sebastian’s West Dinner Playhouse begins a 7 year run as a dinner theatre with many notable dramatic and musical productions
• 1980 The Southampton Dinner Theatre takes over the stage
• 1991 Cabo’s ‘n’ Wabos Cabaret Cantina continues the entertainment tradition
• 1992-2003 Various owners operate offices and exhibition space
• 2004-2009 The Casino is shuttered pending retail and condo development proposals
• 2010 – LAB Holding acquires the Casino and begins the renewal and restoration of this iconic and historic community venue – Welcome!!!
